I like it. The only problem I had was the first stanza, when you said, "He can't hurt you any more, Let me..." That space there makes it sound like you want to be the one to hurt her now. Other than that it is very well done, and you voice is right on as usual.

Great song Chaz! The kind of song that I like. Something I like to call "Heavy Mellow"!

I am not a country artist (I tend to perform rock or alternative songs), but I have written country music as a songwriter and have no objections to performing the demos for those. I don't understand why some musicians try to create a division with other musicians...especially when they are as good as you. This is a great song, excellent production, wonderful music, a well constructed song and presented in a marvellous way by your outstanding vocals. It doesn't matter to me whether I usually like country music or not...this is very good music!

Beautiful melodies Chaz...your backups are just awesome..and what a great chorus. Such a great feel you have on this brilliant and soulful arrangment. Your production is perfect. Very nice work indeed :

I agree with zique.
In this one I was captivated by the accoustic guitar work in the intro.
I had to listen twice after reading Chris's comment above. He had noticed something I hadn't. Maybe it was the power of suggestion after reading it. I didn't make the connection the first time through. It is a subtle observation.
You do great work.
